The objects of the CCAQ Inc:
- strengthen the public profile of Celts in Australia, especially in Queensland
- encourage and maintain in Australian Celts a sense of pride of their Celtic heritage
- liaise between and cooperate with Irish, Scottish, Welsh, Cornish, Manx and Breton communities; and other bona fide Celtic communities and organisations
- honour members of Celtic communities who have made a significant contribution to the Celtic cause
- arrange and promote Celtic gatherings
- support activities of a significant Celtic content
- publish a newsletter and a calendar of Celtic events in Queensland
- support, in appropriate ways, efforts by tertiary educational institutions in research, training and study of Celtic culture, languages and history
- raise money for all or any of the above purposes.
